Onwards! The Eastern Provinces (again)
On Friday the 18th of July, 2008 at approximately 8.15am - pray there are no delays - Amirul B Ruslan will embark on his second solo trip to the Eastern Provinces, revisiting the city of Kuching once more since his famous February trip.
There is one key error in that last paragraph: "second solo trip". Amirul B Ruslan will not be going to the Eastern Provinces alone, but in a "solo trip +1" thing. The plus one abovementioned shall be none other than young Jim Kem (real name: Jazym Kem), noted and accomplished photographer and a long-time friend.
As per the long-respected tradition of young people traveling on foot (not across the South China Sea, though, how stupid do you think I am?), we shall have only one stock-full backpack each, with no more than a camera, some clothes, two or three hats, half a Hygiene Set, and probably a laptop computer each. We're mobile workstations.
Though the trip is t-minus six days and counting, there's a lot of things I have neglected to do. One is find my itinerary paper thing that lets me go into the flight. Two is get my big-ass backpack, which is in the possession of young Mr. Kem. Third is to pack, and fourth is to be there for the flight.
Kuching, I hereby return.
