OO Nite 2008 - Post-Event Photos 'nd All
Big-O-Vision for the Orientation Odyssey Night 2008 photos. I had a blast spending those long five hours at the college hall in the company of my favorite people (bar the non-college favorite people), and having a huge TT Nite section in the audience really made it a lot more fun.
The emceeing was, to be frank, very flat, and I hope to see better things on our actual night. It's this Sunday, people! I need more tickets for my entourage than I get. Roslyn and Seroja are for sure coming, though I do want my parents to be able to see what kind of work I had been putting for these last four months.
SAMANTHA, IF YOU'RE READING THIS, PLEASE CALL ME BACK ASAP SO WE CAN CONFIRM IF YOU'RE COMING. I need you. Need you to come. Please, please, please, please, please come. Your presence would make all this work so worthwhile.
There are a fair few post-event photos (97! on Sarah's camera) which fancily-dressed people - usually me - pose for photos together. Here are my selection of my favorite 37. You'll see them tagged 'n' bagged on Facebook too, fear not. Assuming you lot have Facebook.
I had something to eat an hour or so ago at the clubhouse cafeteria, which I've been going to a lot now since I joined TT. Had the maggi goreng. Uploaded photos. I know you lot just want to see photos and not wordtextcommunications, so here it is.
Massive amounts of Big-O-Vision, so get ready your superfast connections!
I drove in (solo!) at 5.45pm, so before that, all photos don't have me. I'm vain enough that photos that don't involve me are usually not placed in the blog. But here is Julia (Miss Bigshot Rapper with a secret blog she ain't telling me), Tabby, Kieran, and Sarah.
All photos from Sarah's camera. Or Daniel's camera.
Inside. These are some of the people in Impromptu (or Imprompt2?).
Freedom and Rain make quite a lovely couple, yes? Mwahahahah. No, kidding.
Am I the only one who has this impression that Sarah's actually naked behind the curtain of our banner? Just kidding.
Bryan, Daniel and Kieran.
Post event photos - Tabby, Finalist Coordinator Lu Yin, and Mr Handsome. He shaved, I know. And now looks so so serious.
Emcee finalist Steph and myself. She wore a... colorful... outfit. A nice change from everybody's plain and dark attire.
Stacey and me. Roslyn passed me her eagle-bling for use with the coat, but Stacey said it looked okay, so it kinda matches with her gold aesthetic. In any case, she lied to me! Three weeks ago she promised to wear green, and match me! Pfah.
Eugene, our fine Program Coordinator, rarely is photographed and seen in my blog. So here's her. She was sitting one row in front of me and was quite open about flaunting her new boyfriend. Hmmmm? That said, she was looking very lovely that night, as did all our TT people.
Stacey and Carmen. Would I be right in guessing that Carmen was wearing what she wore for Accounting Night again? Tsk, tsk.
When I take photos with Hazel, I have to crouch so that we can actually see both of us in the photo. (My God, how many height jokes can I make of her anyway? My apologies)
A bunch of TT people acting out the "It's All Love" gesture. Kieran in particular, wearing blue, looks like a monkey. With specs.
My favorite photo of the bunch. It looks like one of them socialite photos. Tabby, me, Stacey, and Stacey's assistant Cecilia. There's even a blue line thing at the back to signify our VIPness.
Bad zoom! Stacey and me. I think I'll be forced to modify this and crop the DiGi bag out of the photo.
Two freshmen girls to my right, and two senior girls to my left. Steph and Hazel (thus me crouching), Tabby and Sarah. Double peace-signs, yo.
Hazel pendek.
Sarah and me. If you saw her entire attire, you'd realize how gothic she looked that night. I'm surprised she didn't go all the way and get a choker.
Elaine was very hot that night. She's one of our Program Designers, managing the dancing category, and generally a great dancer too.
Hazel again. This is yet another of my attempts to prove how short she is
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Sengggggggggggggg! If he dressed this smart every day, you'd forget he wears the same pair of crocs and dumpling shorts and NS belt as his usual uniform.
Also very nice. Except for my smug-serious look. Winky Kum Pooi Shan and Amirul B Ruslan, once more.
This photo is also a personal favorite. The lovely Angie to the left, and her assistant Program Master Carmen.
Amazing magic dancer Jackson features in this Blair Witch Project-style shockphoto with me. He's got a fair number of fans from practicing and performing at our promotional booth.
Caleb, drummer for band Everlasting, and Philip, bassist for band Fuziune.
Philip and Hazel. Funny photo, and quite excellent. She had no idea Philip was behind her.
Kieran and Steph. My condolences to her after the deaths of her cherished forty fishes.
Stacey and me again, again. (What's with the retarded, eyes-closed look?) We were at the right-most side of the VIP seats, and then at one point during the emcee interaction the emcee Amanda came over to us and tried to 'interact' and offer free DiGi simpacks. She was like, "Anybody wants a free DiGi simpack?" on the mic, and I was shouting "Stacey! Stacey!" whilst Stacey shouted, "Amirul! Amirul!" In the end, Amanda came over to Stacey and asked her why she deserved a free DiGi simpack. Her answer was, "But I don't want one!" To which Amanda shone the light on me and asked why I deserved a free DiGi simpack. My answer was, "But I've already got one!" She promptly took it away. Shame. I kinda wanted a new DiGi simpack.
Last photo of the night: Hazel and me again. Yeah. Drove to McDonalds in Melati Utama to have dinner with Bryan, Hazel and Daniel. I took Caleb, Kieran, Julia, Tabby, Philip and Steph. It's amazing how many people you can fit in a car and still be able to drive.
The end, folks.
We all dressed nice, and watching OO Nite come off successfully really made us feel the reinvigorated TT Nite spirit.
